In this episode we begin our journey into Swara Yoga diving into the how the phases of the moon effect the brain hemispheres and nervous system. The purpose of Swara yoga to elevate the individual into higher consciousness and a unified understanding of the universal prana (cosmic energy). And what is swara yoga and its aim beyond brain hemispheres and nostril dominance governed by the moon. Note: this is a lunar day, and doesn’t line up exactly to the duration of a solar day.

Note: Some lunar months are 29 days while others are 30, it is due to the synodic system, in which it takes 29.53 days for the Sun and Moon to reunite at the same position against the stars. A lunar day is considered the time it takes from the moon to transit 12 degrees from the sun.
